SAE Auction for the Kids

A night of fun and fundraising.

Who, What, When, Why…

SAE students rock!

Join us for a very special evening as the Station Avenue Elementary School PTO hosts our first auction gala.  This event will be at Ardeo Grille at King’s Way in Yarmouthport on Sunday, February 28, 2010.  From 4:00 to 8:00 pm we will offer live and silent auctions and maybe even a few mystery boxes!  We are pleased to say that Mr. John Terrio of Auction Knights will be the auctioneer for the event.  So here’s a sneak peek at some of our awesome offerings and our generous donors.  Who knows, you might even get a bargain or two ;-)

Tickets are available now for $25.00 each, there will be hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.  Contact the SAE PTO to request tickets or additional information.  We hope to see you there!

  1. The SAE PTO Auction Committee has done an AWESOME job of soliciting donations from generous donors, near and far, with items and activities that reflect a wide variety of interests. After taking a peek at an early list of potentional donors, I would also guess there will be items that fit EVERY budget too…even in these somewhat challenging financial times! I am hoping be able to “win” items and put them away for family member’s birthdays, and maybe even Christmas 2010…

I was also pleased to hear that the $25 ticket price includes a selection of what the auction coordinators assured me would be “heavy” passed hors d’oeuvres…(not heavy in weight, for those of us watching our winter waistlines; heavy in amount, variety, etc.)…no need to snack beforehand!

So I, for one, am looking forward to the BIG EVENT this coming Sunday (February 28th), and hope to see many familiar faces among the crowd. Or you could do as my mother did…she has a prior commitment for a business meeting scheduled around the same time as the auction, but purchased a ticket even though she won’t be attending just to show support for the efforts of the PTO and the students, staff, administration, and educators at Station Avenue Elementary School.

As the first of what will most likely become a yearly event, I know this will be a great learning experience for our dedicated PTO, and I encourage readers to attend, invite friends and family, and also join me in thanking the organizers of this event in advance for their selfless commitment to their goal(s) of serving the needs of SAE students, teachers, and families.
